Muro 128 - " Sodium Chloride 5% Ophthalmic Ointment

This is a hypertonic eye ointment used for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with corneal edema, such as blurred vision and eye discomfort.

It draws excess fluid out of the cornea while you sleep and is typically used at night, often in combination with Muro 128 5% eye drops for daytime relief, as recommended by an eye-care professional.

Directions:

• Pull down the lower lid of the affected eye. Apply a small amount (1/4 inch) of ointment to the inside of the eyelid. Apply every 3 or 4 hours or as directed by a doctor.
• Follow all directions on the product package. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Active Ingredient:

• Sodium chloride 5% - " Hypertonicity agent
• Inactive ingredients: Lanolin, mineral oil, white petrolatum, purified water.

Precautions:

• Do not use, except under the advice and supervision of a doctor.

When Using This Product:

• It may cause temporary burning and irritation.
• Replace the cap after use.
• To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the container to any surface.

When to Stop Use:

• Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours.
• You experience eye pain, changes in vision, or continued redness or irritation of the eye.

Storage and Safety:

Keep out of the reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
