NFH ProBio Mood SAP, 60 Capsules

NFH ProBio Mood SAP is a targeted psychobiotic — Lactobacillus helveticus R0052, Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus R0011, and Bifidobacterium longum R0175 — chosen specifically for their clinically studied effect on the gut-brain axis.

What makes this a "psychobiotic"

The gut-brain axis is the two-way communication network between the digestive system and the nervous system, and specific probiotic strains — not probiotics generally — have been studied for their effect on it. This particular strain combination has been shown to reduce tryptophan degradation and support serotonin synthesis, helping promote mood balance while easing stress-related digestive complaints, which is a much narrower and more specific claim than a general-purpose probiotic can make.

Often chosen by

• Anyone whose stress or mood concerns come with digestive symptoms
• People interested in the gut-brain axis specifically, not general gut health
• Those looking for research-backed strains rather than a generic probiotic blend

Format and exclusions

60 enteric vegetable capsules per bottle, 1 capsule daily. Non-GMO, and made without gluten, dairy, or soy.

Before you start

Those who are immunocompromised or critically ill should check with a healthcare practitioner before starting any probiotic. This isn't a substitute for treatment of a diagnosed mood disorder — use alongside, not instead of, professional care where relevant. Store in a cool, dry place, and keep out of reach of children.
