Why heme iron absorbs differently

Heme iron is absorbed through a dedicated intestinal pathway separate from non-heme iron, so it isn't blocked by the phytates and polyphenols in food the way plain iron salts are. This generally means better absorption and notably gentler digestion — each capsule also includes vitamin C, active folate, and B12 to round out red blood cell support.

Before you start

Get your iron levels tested first. Iron is one of the few nutrients where too much causes real harm — the body has no efficient way to excrete excess iron, so it accumulates.
