Otrivin Medicated Cold & Allergy Relief Original formula

Otrivin Original is a decongestant nasal spray. It clears a stuffy nose from colds, allergies or sinus congestion within minutes and keeps working for hours. It shrinks the swollen blood vessels lining the nose so air can flow again.

Medicinal ingredient

• Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1%

How to use

• Blow your nose gently first.
• Keep your head upright, insert the nozzle into one nostril, and spray while breathing in gently. Repeat in the other nostril.
• Follow the package for the dose and the age it is for (the 0.1% strength is for adults and children 12 and older).
• Wipe the nozzle after use. Don't share the bottle.

Important: short-term use only

• Don't use it for longer than the package allows, usually only a few days. Using it longer can cause rebound congestion, where your nose becomes more blocked when you stop.
• Ask a health professional before use if you:
  • have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma or an enlarged prostate
  • take an MAO inhibitor or tricyclic antidepressant
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding
• See a doctor if symptoms last more than a week or come with a fever.
