NFH Ashwagandha SAP, 60 Capsules

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) has been used in Ayurvedic practice for around three millennia, where it's classified as a rasayana — a rejuvenative tonic. Modern supplement shelves call it an adaptogen. NFH's version is a concentrated root extract standardized to 5% withanolides, the compounds most of the research on ashwagandha focuses on.

Root extract, standardized

Ashwagandha products vary enormously in strength depending on which part of the plant is used and how it's prepared. This one uses root extract — the part with the longest traditional record — standardized so the withanolide content is consistent bottle to bottle rather than left to chance.
