The nutrients

Vitamin C, vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), vitamin B6, magnesium and zinc. B5 is included at meaningful levels because pantothenic acid is a required precursor for coenzyme A, which sits upstream of adrenal hormone production.

Contains licorice — read this part

This version contains licorice root extract, which can raise blood pressure and lower potassium in some people. That effect is well documented and not rare. If you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney conditions, or take blood pressure medication or diuretics, choose NFH Adrenal SAP Licorice-Free instead — we stock it for exactly this reason. Licorice is also not recommended during pregnancy.
