Ascensia CONTOUR® NEXT Blood Glucose Test Strips, 100 Strips

If you check your blood sugar several times a day, strips that read accurately the first time save both money and fingertips. CONTOUR NEXT strips from Ascensia need only a tiny 0.6 µL drop of blood, and Second-Chance sampling lets you add more blood to the same strip if the first drop wasn't enough.

Why people choose them

• Highly accurate readings, not thrown off by common interfering substances
• Tiny sample size and fast results
• No coding needed
• Second-Chance sampling reduces wasted strips
• Work with CONTOUR NEXT series meters

How it works

An enzyme on the strip (glucose dehydrogenase) reacts with glucose in the blood sample; the meter turns that signal into a reading on screen.

Testing

1. Insert a strip into your CONTOUR NEXT meter
2. Touch the strip tip to a fresh drop of blood
3. Read the result and record it or act on it as your care plan says
4. Throw the strip away safely

Care tips

• Single use only; never reuse a strip
• Keep strips in their original container with the lid closed, away from heat and moisture
• Discuss your readings and targets with your diabetes care team
