Vagisil® Extra Strength Anti-Itch Creme, 30 g

Vagisil Extra Strength Anti-Itch Creme gives fast, temporary relief from external feminine itching and burning caused by minor irritation. It combines a numbing agent with an anti-itch ingredient.

Medicinal ingredients

• Benzocaine 20% w/w (topical anesthetic)
• Resorcinol 3% w/w (anti-itch)

How to use

For ages 12 and up. Apply a thin layer to the external area only, following the package for how often to use it. Wash your hands before and after. Don't use it for more than 7 days unless a doctor advises it.

Important safety information

• For external use only. Do not use inside the vagina.
• Don't use it if you are allergic to benzocaine or other "-caine" anesthetics, or to resorcinol.
• Stop use and get medical help if you notice pale, grey or blue skin, headache, fast heartbeat, shortness of breath or confusion. These can be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare reaction to benzocaine.
• This cream relieves itch but doesn't treat infections. See a health provider if you have unusual discharge, odour, sores or fever, or if itching keeps coming back.
• Ask a health professional before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
