How to Use
Salinex Nasal Drops are designed to help clear nasal congestion in babies, toddlers, and young children caused by common colds, allergies, dry indoor air, or nose irritation.
Wash your hands before use.
Gently tilt your child’s head back or lay them comfortably on their back.
Place the dropper just inside the nostril and squeeze to release 1‑2 drops per nostril.
Pause briefly to allow the saline to travel into the nasal passages.
After application, wipe away excess fluid with a clean tissue.
Use before feeding or sleep to help your child breathe more easily.
Salinex Nasal Drops can be used multiple times daily as needed, especially during nighttime congestion or when a child struggles to breathe through a blocked nose.
Dosage
Salinex Nasal Drops are safe and suitable for infants and children of all ages. Follow this general guidance:
- Infants (0–12 months): 1–2 drops per nostril as needed
- Children (1–10 years): 2–3 drops per nostril as needed
No strict dosage timing is required. Use as frequently as necessary to relieve nasal congestion, especially before meals or bedtime to support easier breathing.
Always monitor your child during use and consult a pediatrician if you are unsure about frequency or technique.
Precautions
Although gentle and non-medicated, proper precautions help ensure safety and optimal use:
- Consult a healthcare provider before use if your child has nasal blockages, recent nasal surgery, chronic respiratory issues, or recurrent ear infections.
Do not share the dropper between children to prevent germ transmission.
If your child is allergic to any formulation component, discontinue use.
Avoid forcefully squeezing the dropper – the solution is intended to flow gently.
Store the bottle with the cap closed, in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat or sunlight.
If your child develops persistent discomfort, nose bleeding, or symptoms worsen despite use, seek medical advice promptly.
Side Effects
Salinex Nasal Drops are generally well-tolerated due to their simple saline composition. Possible mild reactions may include:
Slight irritation or stinging
Temporary increased nasal discharge
Brief sneezing reflex
If irritation persists or your child shows signs of a more significant reaction (e.g., rash, difficulty breathing), discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
