Prenatal Pro is a prenatal multivitamin and mineral for women who are planning a pregnancy, pregnant or breastfeeding. It includes active (methylated) folate and B12, and the recommended amount of iron for pregnancy in a gentle, chelated form.

What it's used for

• Helps to reduce the risk of neural tube defects when taken daily at least 3 months before becoming pregnant and during early pregnancy
• Helps pregnant women get the iron recommended by Health Canada when combined with a healthy diet
• Helps to prevent folate deficiency

Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep out of reach of children; in case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control centre immediately. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you take prescription medication.
