NFH Iron SAP uses iron bisglycinate, a form of iron bound to the amino acid glycine. This form is well absorbed and noticeably easier on the stomach than iron salts. It matters because constipation and nausea are the main reasons people give up on iron.

A complete blood-building formula

Iron is paired with methylfolate, methylcobalamin (B12), vitamin B6, riboflavin and copper. Each of these plays a part in forming red blood cells and using iron.

The 60-capsule size

This smaller bottle is a good choice for a first try or a shorter course. A 120-capsule size is also available.

Before you start

  • Get tested first. A ferritin test and a CBC will show whether you need iron. Excess iron builds up in the body.
