NFH Iron SAP 60 Capsules
Description
The smaller bottle of NFH's iron formula — 60 capsules, same iron bisglycinate build as the 120-count size. A sensible starting point if you haven't taken this one before and want to see how you get on with it before committing to a larger bottle.
Iron bisglycinate, briefly
Iron is bound (chelated) to the amino acid glycine rather than supplied as a plain iron salt. That chelation improves how well the iron is absorbed, and it's noticeably easier on the stomach — which matters, because digestive upset is the single most common reason people abandon an iron supplement partway through.
Not iron alone
The formula pairs iron with methylfolate, methylcobalamin (B12), vitamin B6, riboflavin and copper. Each of these has a part to play in red blood cell formation and iron metabolism, so they're included rather than left for you to source separately.
Reasons to pick the 60-count
- Trying this formula for the first time
- A shorter course under a practitioner's direction
- Travelling, or keeping a second smaller bottle elsewhere
- Preferring a lower upfront cost over the per-capsule saving of the bigger size
Format and exclusions
60 capsules, taken once daily. Non-GMO; made without gluten, dairy, soy, wheat, citrus, starch, sugar, artificial flavours or preservatives. Check the label for the exact elemental iron content per capsule.

Get your iron levels tested first. Fatigue has many possible causes, and supplementing iron you don't need isn't harmless — the body has no efficient way to excrete excess iron, so it accumulates. A ferritin test and CBC from your doctor will tell you whether iron is actually the issue, and at what dose.
Store out of reach of children. Iron-containing products are a leading cause of accidental poisoning in young children, so keep the cap secure and the bottle stored high and dry, away from direct sunlight.
