NFH EGCG SAP combines green tea extract (500 mg, 75% EGCG) with tomato extract (lycopene) and a berry/grape fruit blend (multi-anthocyanidins) into one broad-spectrum antioxidant formula, rather than isolating EGCG on its own.

Why combine EGCG with other antioxidants

EGCG is the primary polyphenol responsible for green tea's antioxidant reputation, and it's been the subject of the majority of green tea research to date. But antioxidants tend to work best in combination — different compounds neutralize different types of free radicals and support different tissues — which is why lycopene and multi-anthocyanidins are layered in here for cardiovascular and cellular protection on top of EGCG's own activity.
