Monistat® 7 Dual-Pak Vaginal Antifungal Treatment

Monistat 7 Dual-Pak is a 7-day treatment for vaginal yeast infections. It contains miconazole, an antifungal medicine, in two forms. Vaginal ovules treat the infection, and an external cream soothes itching and irritation on the outside. The gentler 7-day course is often preferred by people who find shorter, higher-strength treatments irritating.

• Miconazole nitrate vaginal ovules for a 7-day course
• Miconazole nitrate 2% external cream

How to use

Insert one ovule at bedtime for 7 nights in a row, and apply the cream outside as needed. Follow the package directions. Finish the full course even if you feel better sooner. You can continue during your period, but don't use tampons.

See a doctor instead of self-treating if:

• this is your first yeast infection
• you are pregnant, may be pregnant or are under 12
• you've had more than two infections in the past 6 months
• you have fever, pain in your lower abdomen, back or shoulder, or a foul-smelling discharge
• symptoms don't improve within 3 days or haven't cleared in 7 days

Note: this product can weaken latex condoms and diaphragms. Use another form of birth control during treatment and for 3 days afterwards. If you take warfarin, talk to a health professional first.
