Kwellada-P Permethrin 1% Creme Rinse – Lice Treatment Shampoo 50mL

Kwellada-P is a head lice treatment made with permethrin 1%. It comes as a creme rinse that kills lice and their eggs (nits). Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid that works by paralyzing the lice.

How to use

Follow the package directions carefully, including how to prepare the hair, how long to leave the rinse on, and when a second treatment may be needed. Comb through with a fine-toothed nit comb afterwards to remove dead lice and eggs.

Preventing reinfestation

• Check everyone in the household, and treat only those who have lice.
• Wash bedding, hats, towels and recently worn clothing in hot water, then dry on high heat.
• Seal items that can't be washed in a plastic bag for two weeks.
• Soak combs and brushes in hot water.

Good to know

• An itchy scalp can last for a week or two after successful treatment. This doesn't mean the treatment failed.
• Ask a health professional before using it on infants, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if the scalp is broken or infected.
• For external use only. Keep away from the eyes.
