Iron takes longer than people expect

This is the main argument for the larger bottle. Correcting iron deficiency isn't a two-week job: haemoglobin may improve fairly quickly, but ferritin — your actual iron reserve — typically needs three to six months of consistent supplementation to rebuild. What heme iron changes day to day

Because heme iron uses a separate absorption pathway from iron salts, it isn't blocked by tea, coffee, calcium or the phytates in grains and legumes.
