FeraMAX Pd Therapeutic 150, 100 Capsules

FeraMAX Pd Therapeutic 150 delivers a high, once-daily dose of iron to treat iron deficiency anaemia. It uses a polydextrose-iron complex, a form chosen to be easier on the stomach than many traditional iron salts. This is the larger 100-capsule bottle.

Per capsule

• Iron (polydextrose-iron complex): 150 mg elemental iron
• Non-medicinal: carrageenan, D&C Red #33, D&C Yellow #10, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #6, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, potassium chloride, titanium dioxide

How to take

• Adults: 1 capsule a day, or as directed by your health practitioner
• Take with meals to reduce stomach upset, and a few hours apart from other medicines
• Usually continued for 3–6 months after haemoglobin returns to normal. Check with your practitioner for longer use

Cautions

• Contains enough iron to seriously harm a child: keep well out of reach
• Ask your practitioner first if you're sensitive to iron products, pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a peptic ulcer, regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis
• Stop and seek advice for nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea or vomiting blood
