Treatment for Iron Deficiency Anemia with 150mg of Elemental Iron per Capsule

Directions for Use

• Adult Dose: Take 1 capsule daily or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. For best results, take a few hours before or after taking other medications. Taking with meals may help lessen gastrointestinal effects.
• Continue use for 3-6 months after hemoglobin levels have returned to normal. Consult your health care practitioner prior to use for prolonged use.

Each Capsule Contains

• Iron (Polydextrose-Iron Complex): 150 mg elemental iron
• Non-medicinal Ingredients: carrageenan, D&C Red #33, D&C Yellow #10, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #6, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, potassium chloride, and titanium dioxide.

Caution/Warning

• Keep out of reach of children. There is enough drug in this package to seriously harm a child.
• Some people may experience gastrointestinal side effects.
• Consult your health care practitioner prior to use, if you are hypersensitive to iron preparations or any ingredient in these products, if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a peptic ulcer, regional enteritis, or ulcerative colitis.
• Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hematemesis (vomiting of blood), or diarrhea.
