Children's Tylenol Acetaminophen Liquid Suspension Banana Berry

Banana berry Children's Tylenol for when your child can't (or won't) swallow pills. Acetaminophen 160 mg per 5 mL brings down fever and eases headaches, toothaches, sore throats, earaches and the aches of colds and flu.

Formula

• Medicinal: acetaminophen 160 mg per 5 mL
• Non-medicinal: flavours, glycerin, high fructose corn syrup, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol solution, sucralose, xanthan gum

Dosing

• Dose by weight if you can, otherwise by age, using the chart on the package
• Every 4–6 hours as needed, maximum 5 doses in 24 hours
• Shake well; measure only with the device in the box, never a kitchen spoon
• Under 2: ask a health professional first

Safety

• Never combine with another acetaminophen product (many cold and flu remedies contain it)
• Keep a written log of doses, especially if more than one person is caring for your child
• Use caution with liver disease or dehydration
• See a doctor if fever lasts more than 3 days, pain more than 5 days, symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear
• Too much acetaminophen can cause serious liver damage. If an overdose is suspected, get emergency help right away, even if your child seems fine
• Rarely: nausea, upset stomach, rash. Seek care for breathing trouble or facial swelling
