Canesten Internal Cream 6 Day Vaginal Cream, 50 G

A gentler, six-night course for vaginal yeast infections. Canesten Internal Cream contains clotrimazole 1%, an antifungal that breaks down the yeast's cell membrane so it can't keep growing. It relieves itching, burning, irritation and unusual discharge right where the infection is.

Formula

• Medicinal: clotrimazole 1% w/w
• Non-medicinal: benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, purified water, sorbitan stearate

How to use

• Adults: 1 full applicator inserted into the vagina once a day, ideally at bedtime, for 6 nights in a row
• Bedtime use keeps the cream in place longer
• Finish all 6 days even if you feel better sooner
• Not for children unless a health professional advises

Before you start

• Not for a first-ever vaginal infection without a diagnosis
• See a doctor instead if you have fever, lower abdominal pain or foul-smelling discharge, or if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Don't use during your period, and avoid intercourse during treatment
• Mild burning, stinging, redness or extra discharge can happen. Stop for severe discomfort, swelling or an allergic reaction, and see a doctor if symptoms don't clear after the course
