Description

Bones need more than calcium alone. Caltrate PLUS pairs 600 mg of calcium with 800 IU of vitamin D3 to help you absorb it, vitamin K1, and four bone-building minerals, in one tablet a day.

How to take

  • Adults: 1 tablet a day with food and a full glass of water. You can break it in half to make it easier to swallow
  • Take a few hours apart from other medicines or natural health products
  • Same time daily works best; don't exceed the daily dose

Precautions

  • Ask first if pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease or a history of kidney stones
  • Vitamin K can affect blood thinners such as warfarin; tell your doctor
  • Avoid doubling up with other high-dose calcium products
  • Constipation, bloating or gas can happen at first; stop if symptoms persist or you have an allergic reaction
  • Keep out of reach of children
