Caltrate with Vitamin D3, 60 Tablets

Per tablet

• Calcium (from calcium carbonate): 600 mg
• Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol): 20 mcg / 800 IU
• Non-medicinal: cellulose, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, titanium dioxide

How to take

• Adults: 1 tablet a day with food; it can be broken in half
• Separate from other medicines or natural health products by a few hours, especially thyroid medication and some antibiotics
• Don't exceed the daily dose

Precautions

• Pregnant or breastfeeding, or have kidney disease, kidney stones or high calcium levels? Talk to your doctor first
• Possible effects: mild constipation, bloating, gas, upset stomach. Very high intake can raise blood calcium, causing nausea, vomiting or tiredness
