AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu Chamber with Small Mask

Little ones can't coordinate pressing an inhaler and breathing in at the same moment. The AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu solves that: the puff is held in the chamber, and your child breathes it in calmly through a soft small mask sized for infants and toddlers. The Flow-Vu indicator moves with every breath, so you can see the medicine is being inhaled.

Design

• Lightweight polypropylene body with clear polycarbonate walls
• One-way silicone valve and a soft thermoplastic elastomer mask with elastic strap
• Latex-free, BPA-free and phthalate-free
• Fits standard metered-dose inhalers

Using it

1. Wash your hands and check the chamber is clean and undamaged
2. Shake the inhaler and fit it into the back of the chamber
3. Place the mask gently over your child's nose and mouth to form a seal
4. Press the inhaler once
5. Let your child take about 5–6 slow breaths while you watch the indicator
6. Remove, and clean as the instructions describe

Good practice

• The spacer contains no medicine; follow the prescribed inhaler dose
• A poor mask seal reduces the dose; an ill-fitting mask can irritate skin
• Clean regularly, don't share between children, and replace if cracked
• Ask a health provider before use if your child has facial differences or severe breathing distress
• Store clean and dry, away from heat
