Advil Regular Strength Liqui-Gels 200 mg, 16 Capsules

Advil Liqui-Gels hold ibuprofen in liquid form inside a soft capsule, so it dissolves and gets to work faster than many standard tablets. Reach for it for headaches, sore muscles, toothache, period cramps, minor arthritis pain and mild fever.

Formula

• Medicinal: ibuprofen 200 mg per capsule
• Non-medicinal: gelatin, polyethylene glycol, potassium hydroxide, purified water, sorbitol sorbitan solution, FD&C Green No. 3, pharmaceutical ink

Dosing (adults and children 12+)

• 1 capsule every 4–6 hours while symptoms last; 2 capsules if 1 isn't enough
• Maximum 6 capsules in 24 hours unless a healthcare professional directs
• Swallow whole with water, with food or milk if your stomach is sensitive
• Use the lowest dose that works for the shortest time
• Under 12: only if a healthcare professional recommends it
• See a professional if fever lasts more than 3 days or pain more than 10 days

Cautions

• Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs, or with other ibuprofen products
• Get advice first if you have stomach ulcers, a bleeding disorder or serious heart disease, or take blood thinners, corticosteroids or blood pressure medicines
• Avoid alcohol; avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy unless a doctor directs

Mild stomach upset, heartburn, nausea, dizziness or headache are the most common effects. Stop and get help right away for stomach bleeding, chest pain, shortness of breath, or swelling of the face or throat.
