Advil 600 mg 12 Hour, 30 Tablets

Advil 12 Hour releases ibuprofen slowly, so a single 600 mg tablet keeps working against pain and inflammation for up to 12 hours. That makes it a practical choice for longer-lasting aches such as back pain, muscle strain or arthritis flare-ups, without dosing every few hours.

Formula

• Medicinal: ibuprofen 600 mg (NSAID) per extended-release tablet
• Non-medicinal: croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, titanium dioxide

How to take it

• 1 tablet every 12 hours as needed; never more than 2 tablets in 24 hours
• Swallow whole with a full glass of water. Crushing or chewing defeats the slow release
• Missed a dose? Take it when you remember unless the next one is almost due. Never double up
• Not for children under 12. Follow the age directions on the package

Check with a doctor first if you

• Have had stomach ulcers or bleeding, heart disease or kidney problems
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Take blood thinners, corticosteroids or another NSAID

Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs. Going over the stated dose raises the risk of stomach bleeding and kidney damage. Read and follow the label.
