Advil 600 mg 12 Hour, 16 Tablets

When pain lasts all day, re-dosing every few hours gets old. Advil 12 Hour uses an extended-release 600 mg ibuprofen tablet that keeps easing pain and inflammation for up to 12 hours, which suits arthritis, muscle aches, back pain and headaches.

Formula

• Medicinal: ibuprofen 600 mg per tablet
• Non-medicinal ingredients: listed on the package

Directions (adults 18+ only)

• 1 tablet every 12 hours as needed, one tablet at a time
• No more than 2 tablets in 24 hours unless a doctor directs
• Swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew or split
• If you miss a dose, take it when you remember, or skip it if the next is due soon. Never take two at once
• See a doctor if fever lasts longer than 3 days or pain longer than 5 days

Safety

• Speak to your doctor first if you have a history of ulcers or stomach problems, heart disease, high blood pressure or kidney disease
• Pregnant or breastfeeding, especially in the third trimester: ask a health professional first
• Avoid alcohol, which raises the risk of stomach bleeding

• Stop and get medical help right away for black or bloody stools, vomit like coffee grounds, chest pain, shortness of breath, swelling, unusual urination changes, hives, facial swelling, wheezing or blistering
