Detect Respiratory Infections Quickly at Home
Use a dual-panel antigen testing device designed to identify COVID-19 and Influenza A & B from a single nasal swab. This self-test gives patients a fast and reliable way to differentiate between common viral infections that often share similar symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, and body aches.
Kit Components
This diagnostic kit includes all necessary components to collect, process, and detect viral antigens from a nasal specimen. Each element works together in a lateral flow system to identify SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A & B antigens within minutes. The materials are intended for one-time use only to maintain accuracy and hygiene.
Active Ingredients
- Dual-panel test cassette for SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A, and Influenza B antigen detection
- Extraction buffer solution
- Sterile nasal swab
- Sample extraction tube with dispensing nozzle
Inactive Ingredients
- Plastic cassette housing
- Foil packaging pouch
- Disposable tube components
- Instruction leaflet
- Outer packaging box
How to Use the Test
Begin by washing your hands and preparing a clean surface. Open the test kit only when ready to use. Carefully read all instructions before starting the procedure.
Insert the sterile swab into one nostril and rotate it gently to collect the sample. Repeat the process in the second nostril if instructed. Place the swab into the extraction buffer tube and mix thoroughly so the sample integrates with the solution. Remove the swab and secure the dispensing cap.
Apply the specified number of drops into the sample well of the test cassette. Keep the cassette flat and allow it to develop for the recommended time. Do not disturb the device during this period.
Interpret the result based on visible lines:
- The control line must appear to confirm valid testing.
- Separate indicator lines will show results for COVID-19, Influenza A, and Influenza B.
- The presence of a test line along with the control line indicates a positive result for that specific virus.
- Only a control line indicates a negative result.
- No control line means the test is invalid and must be repeated.
Dosage and Usage Guidelines
This is a diagnostic device, not a medicine taken internally. The correct usage is one complete test per screening session.
Follow these guidelines:
- Use one full test kit per patient.
- Do not reuse any component.
- Perform a new test if symptoms continue or worsen.
- Repeat testing if initial results are negative but exposure risk is high.
- Do not attempt to divide one test for multiple individuals.
The single-test format is ideal for immediate screening needs when symptoms appear suddenly or when quick confirmation is required.
Precautions and Handling
Proper handling ensures reliable results. Always check the packaging before use. Do not use damaged, expired, or previously opened components. Store the kit under recommended conditions and avoid exposure to heat or moisture.
Important precautions include:
- Use only the components provided in the box.
- Avoid touching the swab tip before sample collection.
- Do not use the test outside the instructed temperature range.
- Read results within the specified time window.
- Dispose of used materials safely after testing.
- Keep out of reach of children.
A negative result does not completely rule out infection. Early-stage illness or low viral load can affect detection. Patients with ongoing symptoms, high-risk exposure, or worsening condition should seek medical advice even after a negative result. A positive result should lead to appropriate isolation and further clinical guidance.
Side Effects and Discomfort
This testing device does not cause systemic side effects because it is not absorbed into the body. However, the nasal swab process can cause mild and temporary local discomfort.
Possible effects include:
- Slight nasal irritation.
- Sneezing during or after swabbing.
- Watery eyes.
- Mild discomfort in the nasal passage.
These reactions are short-lived and resolve quickly. Discontinue use if severe irritation or bleeding occurs.
